1YO Left Inside Vehicle Dies In New Mexico

The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) is investigating the death of a 1-year-old child in the southwest part of town. APD responded to a call around 5:30 p.m. Sunday to the 1300 block of Tres Ritos Road to reports of a child who had been left inside a vehicle.

Officials say life-saving measures were attempted on the child, but they determined the child died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
