1YO Girl Thrown Down Garbage Chute By Emotionally Disturbed Uncle In Park Hill

A baby girl was rushed to the hospital after police say her uncle threw the child down a garbage chute on Staten Island.

A 911 call was received for an emotionally disturbed person at 195 Steuben St.

Police say a 39-year-old man threw his niece, a 1-year-old girl, down a trash chute from the third floor to the first floor.

The baby was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital North in stable condition with minor scratches to her torso.

The baby's uncle was quickly taken into police custody for questioning.

The mother of the child needs to put him out if it her apartment or needs to move out if it is not.

I guess it's a good thing she landed in the all the trash at the bottom of the chute. Never thought I"d be saying that about a baby who's been thrown a way.
