A 13-year-old has been arrested for animal torture resulting in death.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to assist Marion County Animal Control on the evening of July 13.

Officers were advised that the teen was suspected of killing a neighbor's cat.

According to a report, officers made contact with the boy's parents, who agreed to discuss the allegations.

According to police, the boy initially denied any involvement.

However, the teen eventually admitted he saw the cat about a week ago and brought it back to his home.

The boy told officers he put the cat in a trashcan and trapped it for several days before he hit it with a pole. The boy tried to stab the cat but it bit him. At this point, he put the cat in a trash bag and slammed it into the pavement until it died.

"After the cat was deceased, [the boy] then proceeded to throw the animal into the yard of a nearby home, where he believed dogs would further mangle the body," a report states.

Baby Dahmer's name was not released because he is a minor.

This is going NOWHERE good.

Poor cat :( that is all fucked up. Days of hunger and thirst and then, yeah.

In the worthless UK they are not even allowed to diagnose sub-adults with psychopathy (but yes this case is USA). This garbage fake science needs to end and they need to work on being able to clinically diagnose this regardless of age and without the person needing to say a word or necessarily cooperate.
