According to a statement from the District Attorney’s office, on April 24, 2022, Wareham Police received a 911 call from Donald Humes, stating that his son, two-and-a-half year old Cameron Humes, was unresponsive and not breathing. Wareham Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the home, located Cameron unresponsive and began performing life-saving procedures. The toddler was transported to Tobey Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation determined the manner of Cameron Humes’s death was acute methadone intoxication, said Cruz.

It's crazy! It seems like these situations are a daily if not hourly occurrence smh.
It really is sad.

In almost every state there are numerous children who died from a drug overdoses - which are labeled accidental and no one is charged.

New York and a majority of the states that begin with the letter M are outrageous with the numbers of children whose lives are lost because keeping the family together is more important than keeping children safe.

i don't think anything will change unless these deads of children due to drugs are classified as murder with intend ... they are not and i repeat not accidental deaths,, if you do drugs don't have kids, if you have kids don't do drugs it is as simple as that because drugs and kids don't mix and a tragedy is just around the corner if you do drugs and have kids.........
