The victims of a Memorial Day weekend double murder in Valley Township were identifed Tuesday as the mother of the suspect’s son and a five-month pregnant friend.
Marmadou Kallie, 23, of Coatesville is accused of fatally shooting Tiara Rodriguez-Diaz, 20, the mother of his 22-month-old son, and her friend, Kimberly Ortiz-Zayas, 20, who was five months pregnant.

The boy was uninjured and is staying in Coatesville with relatives of the suspect, according to Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan.

Investigators said that believe Kallie removed his son from his mother’s car before he fatally shot the two women in the car.

Kallie is accused of killing two women, an unborn child, and carjacking before threatening to kill himself in two hours and 20 minutes in four Chester County municipalities.

“Valley Twp experienced a horrific double murder on a holiday weekend when family and friends were supposed to enjoy summer’s unofficial start," Valley Township Police Chief Glenn Eckman said "Instead, two young women and an unborn child are dead. It was a brutal scene for law enforcement to process."

Kallie is in Chester County Prison without bail on charges of first-degree murder, murder of an unborn child, carjacking, endangering the welfare of a child and related charges.

Mamadou Kallie, the Chester County man convicted at trial of “brutally executing” both of the women in his life and his unborn child, was sentenced to three consecutive terms of life in state prison.

The punishments were handed down by Common Pleas Court Judge Analisa Sondergaard, who had presided at Kallie’s trial earlier this year and heard not only the overwhelming mountain of evidence against him but his incredible account of how the women were murdered by a man in black who came out of nowhere and disappeared into the night.

“Mr. Kallie, you took three lives on May 29, 2022,” Sondergaard said Monday in a stern voice after an hour-long sentencing proceeding, at which the family of all of the victims spoke emotionally of the devastating loss they suffered because of Kallie’s desire for revenge against the women, who were planning how to rid him from their lives.

“You changed so many lives on that day, and it was you who ended these beautiful lives,” she said, extolling the victims’ personalities. “The number of aggravating factors in this case is overwhelming, and it is the court’s belief that you deserve three life sentences.”

Given the opportunity to make a statement on his own behalf, Kallie simply shook his head.

The sentence came for the shooting deaths of victims Tiara Rodriguez-Diaz, who was Kallie’s longtime girlfriend and mother of his toddler son, and Kimberly Ortiz-Zayas, the girlfriend he tried to keep secret from Rodriguez-Diaz until the two women met and began planning to break free of Kallie’s abusive relationships with them. Ortiz-Zayas was five months pregnant with Kallie’s son at the time.

I was questioning if maybe they had some sort of poly relationship since it said the girls were friends...but they met, became friends and were planning on leaving him in the dust! Can't help but wonder if that plan was coming close to fruition and that's why he didn't wait until the other baby was born, or if maybe he didn't even want the other baby. Or maybe they all got into a confrontation that night.
It's also kinda weird that those girls almost look like the same person in those photos! For a split second I thought it was two photos of the same victim.

Men will come between friends and threesomes rarely end well.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I also thought maybe one friend was a backstabbing the other.
Having more than one partner takes a lot of work, honesty and trust. It's hard enough at times with one partner. Unfortunately, like marriage, people seem to think poly can be some sort of relationship issue miracle worker! They don't realize that if that's their motive, it will just add a million more problems.
People are really wild sometimes.
