Two parents have been charged in connection to the October 2023 death of a one-year-old child.
Brijin McCullough, 31, and Wilma Presley, 36, were both charged with first-degree murder and aggravated endangerment of a child on Monday. McCullough has also been charged with two additional counts of aggravated endangerment of a child.
On October 31, 2023, emergency crews responded to the Walmart where a woman reported her one-year-old son was unresponsive. EMS took the child to a Wichita hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

District Judge Jeffrey Goering sentenced 36-year-old Wilma Presley to 240 months in prison with 36 months post release.
Presley pled guilty to distributing a controlled substance causing death and aggravated endangering a child along with drug crimes on July 12.
Presley and 32-year-old Brijin McCullough were both charged with first-degree murder and aggravated endangerment of a child earlier this year.
McCullough was convicted in July of second-degree murder and three counts of child endangerment.
