An 11-year-old girl disclosed to Kate Murray and Margret Goedeke that 64-year-old David Wolfe was sexually abusing her.
The two women were aware that Wolfe is a registered sex offender and continued to allow him access to the girl.
The investigation began after a report to DCF that Murray had punched the girl in the head. The victim explained that Murray told her to go to Wolfe’s home after school and on the weekends.
Officers say on many occasions Wolfe penetrated the victim with his finger. He also wrapped rubberbands around the girl’s wrist causing her pain and leaving marks. He is also accused of cutting her with a knife.
Murray, 42, and Goedeke, 52, are facing charges child neglect with great bodily harm, aggravated child abuse, evidence tampering, and failing to report suspected child abuse.
Wolfe was charged with human trafficking of a minor, sexual assault of a child, aggravated child abuse, lewd and lascivious molestation, luring a child, and resisting an officer.
