Child abuse charges in the case of a 5-year-old girl of Greenville are set to be amended after the child died on Sunday, according to a report.

The Daily News in Greenville is reporting that authorities on Aug. 11 responded to a home where a 5-year-old girl was not breathing. Officers were able to help her breath again. She was then taken to a hospital in Greenville where staff found more serious injuries that aren’t typical for normal childhood activities.

The boyfriend of the child’s parent, Armin Hadzik, 30, was babysitting her at the time. He was charged Aug. 12 with first-degree child abuse with intent less than murder.

The child was transferred to the intensive care unit at a Grand Rapids hospital. She died on Sunday.

Hadzik is now facing a second-degree murder charge.

This is probably what the resident creep of That 70's Show will look like after all those rape trials. What would be the point of taking care of himself afterward? It's not like a forgettable public access TV show or C-budget movies produced either by Lifetime or by some trustafarians who just graduated college are even quarter-way interested in enlisting him. Also, Hyde's house is for sale, since he may be getting a residence with much less square footage soon, if you know what I mean. You should view its listing and fantasize about buying "that or a house like it" someday, but never actually do such a thing because it's not realistic.

Scientology is one hell of a drug.

Wow. And I'm supposed to believe that Bigfoot up there is 30. This guy was so much better back when he was advertising Jack Link's Beef Jerky.

And I'm not forgetting my obligatory denouncement of the actual crime here: killing 5-year-olds is bad. And so are Nazis. And so are scientologist actors who rape multiple women but always came off kind of douchey to begin with.

The following choice of song is strategic and purposeful and relevant to what I just typed. I won't say why here, but you can research it.

A Montcalm County judge disregarded a plea deal made by the Prosecution’s Office and sentenced a Greenville man to a minimum of 25 years in prison for causing the death of a 5-year-old girl.

The sentence was eight years more than the 17-year sentence proposed by the prosecution.
Armin Hadzic, 30, previously pleaded no contest to first-degree child abuse and felonious assault with a weapon in the death of Aurora Van Nortrick, 5, of Greenville, the daughter of Virginia Frame and Shawn Van Nortrick..

Hadzic, was the boyfriend of Aurora’s mother. Hadzic was arrested a day after officers responded to a 911 call on Aug. 11, 2021, of Aurora not breathing. Aurora succumbed to the injuries she had sustained and died four days later at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids on Aug. 14.
Hadzic was also charged with second-degree murder but that charge would be dismissed in exchange for his plea to the other charges according to a proposed plea deal between Hadzic and the Prosecutor’s Office which stipulated that Hadzic would serve no more than 17 years in prison.

However, when Hadzic appeared before Montcalm County Circuit Court Judge Ronald Schafer for sentencing this past July, the judge announced that he was not inclined to follow the plea deal and was considering a minimum sentence of 25 years prison instead.
“I am deeply remorseful for the family of Virginia, Louanne and Mike, Deb and Dan,” Hadzic told the judge while appearing in court via video from the Montcalm County Jail. “I’m just deeply remorseful for what has happed and for what has gone down.”

Hadzic began weeping at this point and covered his face with his hand.

“That’s it, your honor,” he said as he struggled to speak.

Schafer said he recognized that Hadzic didn’t have “the best background” or a “substantial criminal history.”

“However, none of that can ever excuse where we’re at today,” the judge said. “When you think about a walking, talking, vibrant 5-year-old in the middle of her life and reliant on you, in many regards, as a caretaker for her, who is no longer here as a result of these blows to the head … with the type of force that would be required to indict this type of damage that would take a 5-year-old’s life, this is just the appropriate sentence, sir. It really is.”

Schafer then sentenced Hadzic to from 25 to 40 years prison for first-degree child abuse and to from two to four years prison for felonious assault with a weapon. The sentences will run concurrent and Hadzic also received credit for the 495 days he has served in jail.

“You are going to be released at some point from the Michigan Department of Correction,” the judge told Hadzic. “If we can take you at your word, if you are truly sorry for this, you can use this time in the Department of Corrections and there will be that day when you are released. You will be given time to figure out what you need to do with yourself to make sure that this never happens again.”
