A man is behind bars after he admitted to trying to sell a young child at a Kentucky gas station.

In a news release, Kentucky State Police said they received a report on Sunday that Harry Day was trying to sell a 4-year-old child for $2,500 at the Speedy Mart in Corbin, Kentucky.

Day's car was reported and tracked to the home of the child's mother, Gertrude Henson. Police went to the home, where they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Day and Henson both admitted to using meth earlier that day, police said.

Both were arrested and face several charges. Day was charged with promoting human trafficking of a child under 18 and DUI. Henson was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Seriously, could you imagine going to the gas station, filling up the tank and some dirty druggy stooge comes up to you with a kid asking you if you want to buy it??
I'd ask him all kinds of questions. Does it come with a warranty? Does it come with a 30 day free trial? Can I pay easy monthly payments of 9.95 with no interest? :p Just to fuck with him long enough for the cops to come.

He wanted to sell a child at a gas station? That is truly disgusting.

A mall is a much better place to make such a transaction. It is more public, more sanitary, and often has employed security to make the child sale go smoothly. Of maybe a coffee shop. Those are known for having friendlier atmospheres than gas stations, and would harbor better conditions for child-based transactions.

A gas station. What a shame. Child selling needs to be more ethical than this.

Of course I'm joking.

A Corbin man pleaded guilty on Monday and will serve one year on human trafficking charges after he allegedly attempted to sell a 4-year-old child for $2,500 at a Corbin gas station.

In a release issued Wednesday, Kentucky State Police said the vehicle of Harry Day, 29, was reported to KSP on Sunday while he was at the Speedy Mart in Corbin. The vehicle was then tracked to an address on Spider Creek Road.

Troopers located the child inside of the home, which belongs to the victim's mother, Gertrude Hensen.

Troopers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the home. Day and Hensen both admitted to using methamphetamine earlier in the day.

Day pleaded guilty after he was charged with promoting human trafficking of a child under 18, the Knox County Court Clerk's Office said.

State police said Hensen was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

That one looks about 4 to me?

If that's the one he tried to sell .. umm. "Stepdads." Okay I know some of them are decent to the children but ... .... just saying.

The mother and dildo look all happy in the car picture and shit, not trashed and broken like in the mugshots. Maybe without their brains being rotted-out by drugs, they could have made passably-acceptable humans. Maybe.

How could anyone try to sell their child?! Get off the drugs and do better by your children. They deserve it.
