President Trump praised 13-year-old DJ Daniels, seated in the House gallery, and announced that he would become an honorary Secret Service agent.

“He has always dreamed of becoming a police officer,” Trump explained. “But in 2018, DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer.”

“The doctors gave him five months at most to live,” he added. “That was more than six years ago. Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true.”

I've seen that happen over and over (well, to be fair, I've only paid attention a little bit before Trump was first elected) and I just don't understand it. There is so much anger and ganging up in that damn building, why can't they all put that aside for happy moments? It's so rare for moments to happen that should make everyone feel good, why be such sour pusses during them? It's pathetic.

Democrats who disrespected Donald Trump at his joint address to Congress have made an enemy of the country’s youngest honorary Secret Service agent, Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel.

“They make me mad,” the 13-year-old cancer survivor told The Post. “If you’re not going to say something nice, you don’t need to be there. Honestly, if it was up to myself, and I was the president, I would literally stop what I was doing, escort [disrespectful people] out and have them banned. They wouldn’t be allowed back in. My dad says that you can’t reward bad behavior.

“Even if they don’t like President Trump, they need to respect the position.”

DJ, who was sworn in before Trump’s speech Tuesday, said the disruption by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) — which got him booted from the House chamber and censured by fellow lawmakers on Thursday — hit particularly close to home.

“[Al Green] embarrassed us; he’s from our congressional district,” said DJ, who lives with his dad in Houston. “I’d tell him that he was very disgraceful and very disrespectful.”

DJ, who is battling brain cancer, won the nation’s heart when he was singled out by the president as “a young man who truly loves our police.” The teen and his dad, Theodis Daniel, a retired Navy man, were also invited to the Oval Office for a Wednesday sit-down with President Trump.

“As soon as I saw him, I gave the president a big hug,” said DJ. “He said that he’s proud of me and handed me a signed hat.”

But “I’m not going to wear it,” he added. “It’s a collector’s item and is valuable.”

DJ, who was given five months to live after being diagnosed with incurable brain and spine cancer in 2018, has “three new tumors,” his father, Theodis Daniel, told Fox 7 Austin last week.

Wow, this kid has had way too many cancers in his life. Incurable brain and spine cancer after all he's been through? Damn, why can't this kid live a normal life? Why does this keep happening?

At least he had one of the highest honors possible, thanks to Trump making him an honorary Secret Service agent. That is wonderful for him.
