Members Who Have Passed Away

I know this is a bit morbid, and I am sure I could search, but does anyone know of all the members we have lost over the years? Lost as in they be dead. I know some were from medical issues while one or two were murdered. But as @Jaded can attest, I am not uncaring I just have the memory of a retarded goldfish -- especially when it comes to forum member names.

Dakota, a couple years ago I believe. Just shaking my head, who has a thread here somewhere. And Alf was having some medical issues before he disappeared, but I don't know for sure.

Damn... did I not know @Valasca died, or did I forget? As soon as I saw that name the first thing that popped into my head was Minions, DGIAF, @Nell, China. I even found a PM with @Malodorous when I was setting him up to write for the Front Page where I made a comment that me and her were not on good terms at that time, but I'll be damned if I can remember why.

She had an aneurysm at work like 5 years ago or so and died a few days later. We also fought but we had thankfully made up by her passing.

You forgot. I remember mentioning it to you. I also remember why you weren't on good terms, because she and I were also on bad terms for basically the same thing. I won't open up that can of worms in here, though.

Yeah, his book got turned into that series on Apple, Silo. I think he even makes a cameo in one of the episodes. I haven't watched it but my friends say it is really good.

We watched the first episode on I think Amazon Prime, and it WAS really good, but I didn't realize when we started it that only the first episode was available without buying the additional subscription. D'oh! I need to I guess get a trial, and binge watch so I can cancel within the however-many-day free period.

I also did not realize that the TV series was about his book series until we started watching it, because it isn't called Wool lol. I had a revelation part-way through and tried to excitedly explain to my boyfriend what it was based on, AND that I had a signed book by the author which I won from yours truly a million years ago lol. He was not overly (or at all) impressed.

@Morbid this thread isn't morbid, every forum thats been running as long as this place has one of these threads.

Its par for the course after 15-20years.

People gonna pass in that time I lost many friends over the last 20+ years on forums, sucks but its all part of the parcel.
