Incoming Trump administration plans to deport some migrants to countries other than their own​

The incoming Trump administration is preparing a list of countries to which it may deport migrants when their home countries refuse to accept them, according to three sources familiar with the plans.
The countries include but may not be limited to Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Panama and Grenada, the sources said.
The plans could mean that thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of migrants would be permanently displaced in countries where they do not know any of the people or the language and have no connection to the culture.

I’m on the fence about this. My great grandparents were from the Irish Republic, Poland and Germany, so I’m a descendant of immigrants. But just let me say that my ancestors did it the right way. They got jobs and all became citizens.

I waited two years for a visa and had to have a sponsor guarantee support. That's how it's done and only acceptable way to permanently enter the country, temporarily work or school visa is a different animal

My one and only issue has ALWAYS been, since 1981 at least, that it be done LEGALLY. If my eleven year old ass had to fill out the proper emigration and immigration paperwork to move to South Africa and back two years later, then anyone can if they want to do the right thing. That's it. That's my beef. I don't care if your skin color is atrocious paisley, that you identify as a moon rock, and that you live for black rain frogs, come here legally and you are most welcome. KInda like where they are now?

I know several people who've immigrated from England, they all had to jump thru all the hoops that allowed them to stay in the US. A friend, whose wife was English, her parents came over and at their ages they had to work, they both worked at a convenience store for years, my best friend's cousin is here now and he's been here well over 10 years but he's still filling out paper work that just kinda arrives randomly. But he is putting in the effort and that's what's important.
