Christopher Sanspree Jr. made the swatting calls while on duty because he "thought it was funny." He made at least six calls over three months and then the real cops caught on. He was arrested and released on $6,000 bond. He's also been placed on administrative leave from his job, so now he has even more time to make swatting calls. Yeah, I think he's dumb enough to do that.

There's an investigation going on to see if he's connected to swatting calls in three other states.

Amazingly, no one was killed or even injured. I'm sure his fellow officers think highly of him after this.

I like humidity and heat. I guess that explains a lot! :spy:
I can't stand it. Probably because I don't sweat very much, and only from my head. I should have remembered how hideous it can be when I went to Florida last Aug. 31. I thought I was going to die waiting at the outside stand for the transport van in Orlando. Like head between my legs, panting, head spinning kind of thought I was going to die. It was awful! People always ask me, if you can't stand the politics of where you live, why don't you move? Thanks but NO. I only fear death a few days a year here in the Willamette Valley. I'd be terrified daily if I lived in Orlando! :wideyed:

Yeah, central Florida is a little too hot for me too. I made the mistake of visiting my uncle in August and I thought I was going to die too. I think I'll stay in NJ. We might get a week or two of really hot and humid weather, but it never lasts.

I agree, someone really should invent some type of air conditioning. No swatting here though.
