—" A former Redding neurologist, Dr. Hamid Rabiee, was sentenced to over 27 years in prison on Tuesday after being found guilty of over 60 counts of sexual assault on female patients.
Shasta County Court Records showed Rabiee first appeared on Redding Police's radar back in 2007 after a woman came forward about an assault. Four other women also came forward accusing Rabiee of assaults in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
After receiving multiple complaints, police arrested Rabiee in 2018."
"The second victim came forward to police in 2015. She told police that Dr. Rabiee had her bend over onto the medical table and he stood behind her touching his groin to her buttocks. He asked her to raise up onto her toes and back down repeatedly as a calf exercise. This caused her to rub up and down on Dr. Rabiee's legs. She says she could feel his erect penis.
Court documents showed that this same account is mentioned by other victims as well.
Victim #2 said she didn't report him initially because he was the best doctor she could find and helped her improve with her Parkinson's Disease tremendously. She later reported the incident in fear that he would do it to someone else.
Many victims did say in the report that Dr. Rabiee was typically a kind and professional doctor and they wondered if the specific incident was just a fluke."
Following Rabiee's arrest, 18 more victims came forward.
In the end, the jury found Rabiee guilty on all 63 counts of charges against him."
Good. A guard already fractured this asshole's ribs in 2019:
