With every passing day it becomes more difficult to find any pertinent information on the Summer Wells investigation.

Lot's of stuff on YouTube to do with observations on Candice and Don Wells strange, hinky and unnatural behavior.

I thought someone in that family would have cracked by now and given up the goods on what happened to Summer.

They are very weird, but that doesn't mean they killed or harmed Summer. While it's possible one or both are involved in the disappearance, it's also possible they are telling the truth and know nothing about what happened to her.

They don't seem smart enough to plan much of anything, or to maintain a sustained cover-up.

~ @Brillig ~ I'm suspicious of both Don and Candace when it comes to truth because the story they have told has changed over time starting with Candice, her mother and Summer out planting flowers on the hill.

I'm right there with you on the pair not appearing bright enough to manage a coverup.

Parents of missing 5-year-old Summer Wells set up YouTube channel

Oct 25, 2021
HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The parents of missing 5-year-old Summer Wells have started a Youtube channel in hopes that it will help in the search for their missing daughter.

The channel, which is run by Donald Wells and Candus Bly, is utilized to keep the public updated with the latest developments in the search for Summer, and is also another way to help spread the word that she is missing.

The Amber alert for Summer is still active and will remain that way until she is found.

There is also a reward fund that was set up by the Church Hill Rescue Squad shortly after Summer went missing.

The fund recently surpassed $40,000 with two donations totaling $35,000.

I just saw a preview for an upcoming episode of Dr. Phil (I know, I know). He’ll be having an interview with Candus sometime in November. He was really going off on her. I can’t wait to see it.

Totally unrelated to Summer's disappearance, but the dad was arrested Saturday night for a DUI which led to charges for violating his probation... they "needed cigarettes." https://www.foxnews.com/us/missing-tennessee-girl-summer-wells-father-arrested-dui

Yet another violation of his probation. Don Wells must be dumber than a fence post if he thought driving to the store because they were out of cigarettes' while under the influence was a bright move. His bulb is so dim it doesn't register a single watt. Doesn't he know that the Po Po are watching and fo0llowing their every move?

Where is Summer Wells?

While Dr. Phil did state he doesn’t believe that the parents hurt or killed Summer, he does believe that the parents, especially Candus, may not be revealing everything that she knows about the case.
When Dr. Phil then asked Candus what she thinks may have happened, she said, “I don’t know.” Dr. Phil tries to press her to provide some speculation to no avail.

In addition, on Thursday’s episode, the experts ask Candus what she thinks should be done to the person or people that took Summer. To that Candus said they “should be put away for the rest of their lives.” To that, the experts note a pause before Candus said that and also say that anyone else reaction would probably be more descriptive and graphic.

To that Dr. Phil said he would say something like, “give me ten seconds in a room alone with them and we’d be done with it."
In Thursday’s episode, the two body language experts asked Candus about what they called the “Cornbread Mafia,” which they say is an organized crime syndicate in the southern United States.

Upon mentioning the Cornbread Mafia, Candus appears to have an emotional breakdown, removes her microphones and leaves the set in obvious emotional distress.
Dr. Phil also adds that the emotional response from Candus could be from fear, guilt or a mix of the two.

When Don and Candus are asked about the Cornbread Mafia, Don mentions that he thinks they are targets of criminals in the area and cites a time that he had all of his “mechanic tools” stolen.
Dr. Phil states that he believes when this case is solved – and he says that it will be solved – the person that took Summer will likely not be a stranger.
Dr. Phil did not mention that he did not think that Don or Candus had any involvement in introducing Summer into trafficking, “or anything of that nature.”

“So I found it kind of unique that he worded it that way,” said Stanton.
