Sentenced: Mayfield Man Charged with Abuse of Baby Girl

A Mayfield, Kentucky man has been arrested for child abuse.

On July 16, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a local hospital regarding a child who had been injured. The child, less than one-year-old, had severe injuries to her head and torso areas.

During the investigation, detectives discussed the injuries with physicians from Vanderbilt University, who determined the injuries were not consistent with an accident, but consistent with abuse.

Detectives spoke with Randall Walker, 22, who was caring for the child on July 16. He turned himself in on August 13, pursuant to an arrest warrant.

oh he has the sads but he did turned himself in he would have done better to have turned himself in BEFORE he hurt the little one that poor baby wouldn't be hurt and he wouldn't have to share a cell. Turning himself in would be so simple just tell the mother of the child that YOU do not have the patience or the self control to be left alone with a wee one period. The mom then either accept it and respect you for your honesty or if she only wanted a baby sitter then find someone willing (not neces. better equipped) and move on .. either way he would have won (no cell time or carrying the quilt) and the baby wouldn't have been injured by him.

for sure if he was the daddy that would have been the re=action of a loving man buy it didn't say if he was or not just caring for the child so therefor didn't add the part of a loving dad that has his own issues and is honest about it...

Right. But even bio dads can refuse to admit they have their own issues (mine did, per his narcissism), and take it out on the kids/other parent. I vote he's just the piece of dick mom kept while she worked/went to class.

yea narcissism won't let them share the limelight with anyone not even their own flesh and blood and yea they are always right so watch out to anyone who he thinks did him some imaginary wrong or out shine them or give attention to anyone else but him or her cuz they figure it is their due to get it all ...in their mind they are the BEE ALL AND END ALL ..
