Three suspects, who have been accused of shooting dead a Papa John's manager, went home to eat the pizza they stole from him while he was out on a delivery, according to Indianapolis police.

Juwuan Terry, 18; Jason Epeards, 18; and 19-year-old Jasean Dale, allegedly killed LaVon Drake, 24, with two different weapons on Monday night.

Drake, who was a Papa John's driver and manager, had not been scheduled to work on Monday, but he came in to help his co-workers.

According to Fox 59, a neighbor saw Drake walk up to a vacant rental home and noticed the suspects' car parked near her house.

She quickly jotted down its plate number.

Another witness told authorities that they saw the suspects leave the home with a rifle and a pizza bag.

Authorities were able to track the vehicle to a nearby apartment building, where the suspects were eating the pizza they had stolen from Drake.

Police said the men also confessed to shooting and killing Drake inside the complex.

Drake's co-worker and friend Cheyenne Pryor told the Indianapolis Star that Drake was 'a good young man, a great employee and a great manager'.

'I'm going to miss him so much,' she added.

I delivered pizza more than once in my life, and you get to where you would do almost anything for many of your coworkers. I know what ya mean.
I delivered pizza for about 6 months 3 decades ago.
Literally had a criminal biker gang as regular customers.
They treated me like a king for bringing them food.
Awesome tips and never had any reason to fear them.
These a-holes lives in my opinion are forfeited from the human race.

The third prick was convicted and sentenced also. All three of these criminals got good sentences and are right where they belong. Their lives are over. Somewhere, LaVon Drake is smiling.

Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears announced today that Jasean Dale has been sentenced to 60 years in the Indiana Department of Correction for his role in the 2018 fatal robbery of Lavon Drake. The jury returned guilty verdicts on the charges of Murder, Felony Murder, and Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (Level 2 Felony) on June 16.
