18-year-old Aiden Tyrrell is accused of shooting his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend, causing the girl's death.
The girl's recovered cellphone showed through text messages that she and Tyrell had gotten into an argument on Thursday.
He then is alleged to have showed gone to her home and shot into her next-door neighbor's apartment and left the scene.
Then, on Saturday, he went back to her apartment to give her back her belongings since they were broken up, but when he pulled up to her, he allegedly shot her and drove away.
According to court documents, the girl was on the phone with a family member at the time of the shooting, who said she was expecting Tyrrell. She waited outside for him to give her her things, and the person on the phone said she then heard "muffled noises" and screaming.
The girl was shot in the torso and was taken to a nearby hospital by her father, where she later died.
