A youth wrestling coach has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl, seven years after he avoided jail time for having sex with another underage girl.
Joseph Dion Martinez, 27, was arrested in Oklahoma City on five counts of second degree rape and one count of forcible oral sodomy after the girl's father contacted police.
Police said Martinez had known the victim's family for several years, and that the girl had worked as a babysitter for Martinez and his wife.
The girl's father became suspicious, however, when he discovered a secret cell phone in her bedroom.
On the cell phone, the father 'found nude photos of his daughter, videos of his daughter and Martinez engaged in sexual acts, and sexual text messages,' Officer Trint Trip stated in a police report obtained by the Edmond Sun.
The outraged father spoke with his daughter, who admitted that she and Martinez had engaged in a sexual relationship over the summer of 2018, police said.
The daughter confessed that Martinez had given her the secret phone to talk with her on Instagram and Snapchat despite a phone curfew imposed by her parents.
The girl, who is now 16, was 15 at the time of the alleged sexual encounters. The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16.
