A woman is facing charges after police said she shot her boyfriend after an argument over his snoring, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

Units were initially called out to a home on Emerald Lake Drive in unincorporated Cocoa in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, 47-year-old Lorie Morin and her boyfriend, who is the victim of the shooting, told officials that the shooting was accidental.

As officials continued to investigate, they found that the shooting occurred during an argument between the two over the victim snoring loudly, according to BCSO. Officials believe the argument escalated to the point where Morin retrieved a shotgun and shot the victim.

Both the suspect and victim are believed to have been drinking leading up to the incident.

Look, I'm a certified skincare specialist okay. THIS WOMAN NEEDS ABOUT 20 YEARS OF SLEEP. Shoot him. Maim him. ANYTHING - please please let this woman sleep before we all get sucked into her deep forehead crevices like a sinkhole in Florida.

JWH was once described as "The meanest man alive". He got the title, in part, because after being awakened by another hotel guest's snoring he fired his revolver through the wall, killing the man.

JWH actually missed the guy the first time. The gunshot awakened him (as they have this weird way of doing), and instead of going for the floor he sat up in bed. That put him in the line of fire, and the second round struck and killed him.

RIP

Been there, very much wanted to do that. He said he didn't snore and got very pissed off every time I mentioned it to him. He also would set his alarm an hour ahead of time and hit the snooze until he felt it was time to get up, because he said he wanted to know he had another hour to sleep. I didn't want to know, I just wanted to sleep. If I managed to sleep thru all that he would turn the overhead light on and then apologize because he woke me up. This kninda stuff would happen every morning. I did truly want to kill him, instead I settled for divorcing him. You know, the civilized way to do things, well sorta kinda, anyway.

obstructive sleep apnea.
He finally got one about 1995, I was already sleeping on the couch. We divorced in 99 and he died in 2017. But he nearly drove me crazy while I was there.

couldn't sleep with it
My friend can't stand the CPAP either, she throws it across the room nearly every night. She didn't like ithe mask being on her face. She recently got a mouth piece that's supposed to hold your jaw out so that your airway is more open so that you don't snore. But she throws that too. She says she doesn't realize she's done it until she wakes up without it. Don't know what's she going to do.

I had the dental appliance and absolutely loved it. My wife threw it away by accident. $1800 gone. Haven't been able to afford another one yet.

My former hair stylist's husband had the test, and he was hardly breathing at all during sleep, I gasped I was so shocked. I thought "Damn! It's a wonder he hadn't died in his sleep!." :nailbiting: I don't think he liked it, but he did wear it.

My bf is insistent he never snores, and that only I do. It's gotten annoying enough that I have stated up and recorded his dumb ass to prove that he's wrong. I actually fell asleep myself while trying record him, and managed to capture him talking in his sleep. Which is less common and waaaaaaaaaay more amusing!!!

I tried to use my CPAP but hated it due to my allergies. I kept waking up feeling like I was choking. Lots of $ down the drain. Screw that. If I die in my sleep, at least that's a peaceful way to go.

I used to think that would be the way to go. Then I thought of waking up next to a corpse. I changed my mind.

The last one but one I had had a microfine filter in the air intake, right behind the cat-hair foam filter. That may be a solution, because it was designed to catch the pollen and other dusts that passed through the foam.
