The mother of a 3-year-old girl who drowned in a neighbor’s pool in Strongsville was denied temporary custody, visitation or phone contact with her other two children. Baksi is also not permitted to contact her children by phone.

Jessica Baksi said she left her children aged, 3, 11 and 1 at home while she ran to McDonald’s on Aug. 1. Her daughter, 3-year-old Aria Kalinich, slipped out of the house and ran around the neighborhood while witnesses tried to catch her, police said.

Officers searched for about 30 minutes before finding the toddler in a pool on Cook Road, just a few doors down from her house.

Aria was taken to Southwest General Health Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Baski said Aria had autism and a history of getting out of the house.

The girl climbed fences and neighbors said they had seen her wandering the neighborhood alone.

Three children 11 and under left alone is bad enough, but add into the situation that

"Baski said Aria had autism and a history of getting out of the house"...

Accident waiting to happen. These poor children...lose their sister and access to mom. So tragic.

Baski said Aria had autism and a history of getting out of the house.

Did she really? At age 3? Or was it mental and bureacatic laziness to keep a problem alive for job security and benefits? Have the child's interee]st's been served or the adults?
I'm thinking of the type of people who perpetuate a problem for benefits and bureacratic job security rather than working to solve a problem of bringing a child along. Hinky thinking meter running here.
