Woman accidentally stabs self during fight with husband, sister-in-law: Roseville PD

A woman inadvertently stabbed herself while fighting with her husband and his sister after they finalized their marriage separation, Roseville police said Thursday.

After the three were done outside of the bank, Wu got upset. Police said she then took a kitchen knife out of her purse and tried to stab the sister.

Police said the husband tried to intercede, but then Wu tried to stab him. During the fight, police said Wu inadvertently stabbed herself in the abdomen.

Wu is in the hospital. She will later be booked into Placer County Jail for attempted murder, police said.

My thoughts also. A knife wouldn't be my first choice for a defensive weapon, so I'm guessing she brought it that day for the fight.
