No Justice: Volunteer track coach accused of raping teen avoids prison time in deal

New Mexico volunteer coach accused of raping a girl who was between 13 and 18-years-old will not be going to prison after taking a plea deal.

In the plea deal, the child rape charge against 58-year-old John Rael was dropped. Instead, Rael was convicted of bribery of a witness and false imprisonment.

According to The Taos News, Rael got four years of probation and was granted a conditional discharge under the deal.
