Enrique Gravier, 48, and Adriana Hoyos Gutierrez, 47, set up shop in a home on the 1300 block of South San Mateo Drive in North Port and called their practice, "Enrique Dentistry," police said. They used the living room as a waiting area and the garage as the examining room.
An affidavit says they only practiced on Hispanic clients, mostly undocumented immigrants. It also says Gravier and Gutierrez have not been paying taxes and have no medical insurance.
Gravier and Gutierrez were booked on recommended charges of practicing dentistry without a license, a felony. They could also be charged with conspiring to commit a third-degree felony.
