A 17-year-old and a 20-year-old admitted to brutally chasing and running over a red fox multiple times over a frozen lake.
One of the scumbags was driving a black snowmobile with yellow skis, black pants, a black and gray jacket and a silver metallic helmet.
The other piece of shit was riding a a black and white snowmobile, wearing fluorescent orange pants, a black jacket and a black helmet.
Footage shows both of them speeding after the helpless animal and hitting it with their vehicle as it continued to try to run away from the duo.

According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the depraved act went on for about 30 minutes.

'The state game warden's investigation suggested the fox was being chased through the field for more than 30 minutes by two individuals operating snowmobiles.

'The suspects ran over the fox multiple times with their snowmobiles during the horrific incident,' officials said in an initial statement.
After both young adults turned themselves in, the Pennsylvania Game Commission released another statement thanking people for generating awareness around the situation.

'Thanks to awareness through social media shares, comments, and overall public outcry, the suspects involved with the incident felt enough pressure turned themselves into authorities.

'Charges will be filed and restitution added to those charges. THANK YOU for being a conservation hero and helping to protect Pennsylvania's wildlife and resources by reporting incidents like this,' the Facebook post read.
It remains unclear when and what the duo will be charged with.
Animal welfare officials are yet to reveal if the fox survived the attack and whether it suffered any injuries.

That's just evil. You really have nothing better to do?? And the fact there is more than one perp! How they felt so comfortable with knowing the other one would, at very least, be okay with it or possibly join in is kind of scary in itself.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission-Southeast Region has charged the two residents who have come forward and allegedly confessed to chasing and harassing a red fox in Heidelberg Township on Jan. 20.
Jeffrey S. Horst, 20, faces six charges, including cruelty to animals, conspiracy to commit cruelty to animals, driving or disturbing game. The commission was investigating an incident related to the illegal harassment of wildlife and attempted unlawful taking of the fox in a field near the intersection of state Route 501 and Locust Street on Monday afternoon.
Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf said the 17-year-old male involved received identical charges. By law, the district attorney's office is not allowed to release the name of the juvenile involved in the incident.
"Because this animal gets up and runs away, we charged the cruelty to animals because it was the better fitting offense based on what we have," she said in an interview with the Lebanon Daily News. "Their intent obviously was to strike, because had they not frankly admitted that, the way the crimes code works, this would have been a summary offense absent the intent to maim, torture (or) seriously harm."
According to court documents, Horst was interviewed by state police and said he observed two red foxes while riding his snowmobile around noon Jan. 20. During the interview he admitted that he and the 17-year-old took off chasing the pair of foxes for approximately three minutes.
State Game Warden Zach Salsgiver said that during the interview the defendants said they didn't strike the fox, but it was there intention to do so.

"Based on the video and our interview with the subjects, it's not clear whether the fox was actually struck," he said. "The video shows the fox clearly disappearing, either underneath or beside the snowmobile."
Officials were not able to locate the fox after the incident. However, Salsgiver said that it probably was under duress looking for food in the snowy conditions before the snowmobilers saw it.

I'll admit it. One of the first thoughts running through my mind when I read this was, "Are snowmobiles legal for taking red fox?" But I see the sixth count covered that aspect, so I suppose they aren't.

red foxes are beautiful animals .. i had a family of parents and 2 little ones that would come up the road in front of my house and i really enjoyed seeing them but a car i was passenger in hit and killed one of the little ones not far from my house and that family never again was seen :) i really hurted me when the accident happened but not seeing them again was as bad :( i know the neighbours and i fed them but to my way of thinking at least even animals want to keep their families safe and they remember i say this cuz the safety of their remaining little one seemed more important than the free food they got on our road....
