Two Kentucky parents were arrested this week after they allegedly locked their children in their bedrooms for "long periods of time" and prevented the kids from using the bathroom, according to police.

Aaron Allen, 27, and Dana Allen, 28, were arrested at their home and each charged with three counts of first-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 or under.

According to an arrest citation, the parents changed the locks on the bedroom doors of their three children so that the doors would lock from the outside.

The three children are 2, 4 and 6 years old, according to the arrest citation

On Monday, Winchester police found the 2- and 4-year-old children locked in their rooms and with soiled diapers, according to the arrest report.

Aaron Allen was sitting on a couch, police said.

The 6-year-old child was found stuck in the corner of his room "with his hands bound behind his back" and "left alone where he urinated on his self," the arrest report stated, adding it "was a form of punishment."

Aaron Allen said his 6-year-old child hid his soiled underwear for two weeks "as to not get into trouble" but that he eventually "got into trouble for hiding it," the arrest report stated.

The three children had been locked into their rooms "for the duration of the night with no way to get out even if an emergency is to happen," according to the arrest citation

Ages 2, 4, and 6. Wanna bet that she's knocked up again? It seems counter-productive to lock the 6 year old in a room with his hands bound as punishment for wetting himself but giving him no alternative but to wet himself during said punishment. Oh the irony!
