A judge set bail at $500,000 on Wednesday for a 48-year-old Hoffman Estates man accused of sexually molesting a 7-year-old girl.

Thomas D. Cook, of the 400 block of Bode Road, was charged in the Rolling Meadows branch of Cook County Circuit Court with predatory criminal sexual assault. He also was charged with driving on a revoked license. Bail was set at $5,000 in that case.

Prosecutors said Cook was babysitting the girl in December when he raped and molested her.
