The parents of an Evangeline Parish boy who reported missing this weekend have been arrested.
Bryson Thibodeaux, 9, was reported as a runaway after he left his home in Blue Point on Friday.
A Level II Missing Child Alert was issued for Thibodeaux, but was later canceled after the boy was found by a neighbor’s home near the his residence.

KATC in Lafayette.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office said the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services was contacted after authorities noticed how malnourished the boy appeared to be. The boy was apparently living in poor living conditions.
Bryson and his 8-year-old sister were placed in DCFS custody, according to KATC.
