Student Plotted To "Shoot Up" NC's High Point University

"High Point University officials said the student, identified by High Point police as Paul Steber, 19, of Boston, was removed from his campus dorm room Tuesday evening after security officials confiscated two guns, including a 9 mm pistol and shotgun, from him on campus.

School officials said they were alerted to the situation after students reported that a classmate was in possession of the firearms.

Campus police said they turned over the weapons to High Point police and took him in for questioning.

During an interview with authorities, Steber told police he had a plan and timeline to "kill people."

North Carolina law prohibits any person, including a concealed handgun permit holder, from carrying a firearm, openly or concealed, on educational property or at a curricular or extracurricular activity sponsored by a public or private primary school, community college, college or university.

Steber is being held at the Guilford County Jail on charges of having a gun on educational property and communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property."

The sad state of affairs is more people are now “qualified” to go to college than to go into the US military. A combination of the low physical fitness ability of today’s youth and the dumbing down of our school system is to blame. It’s pretty bad when the military says they would rather be short handed than to be saddled with fat morons. Colleges just want your student loan money, so they are not to choosy.

Colleges exist just for profit these days. How else do you think these fuckbots have all the time in the world to protest, blog, etc.? A major reason I refuse to endorse free college if this is what I'm supporting. Throwing cash in a fire is a better investment.
