An exotic dancer from Lakeland was charged with threatening to commit a mass shooting.

The Lakeland Police Department reported Brein Basarich, 31, a dancer at Plant City’s Showgirls Men’s Club, had posted on social media under the user name “taking lives” about alleged urges to commit homicide.

According to an arrest affidavit, Basarich was arrested at her home in Lakeland on Jan. 2. There, police showed her screen shots of her Tumblr social media account that allegedly stated: “I had a vision...of a very public place, only one way in and one way out. Preferably a bar/club on a busy night. 2019 has a lot in store if my plans go according!”

The affidavit stated Basarich said she planned to buy an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle “soonish.”

“Pretty excited. It will be my first gun and I plan to get others,” she allegedly stated.

Police said Basarich also told them she’s a admirer of “true crime,” serial killers and mass murderers.

We need a time machine. Send her back in time to off the baby basher and get back just in time for her next stripper show.

She'd be a true hero. Maybe even have a little outfit with a cape.
Okay maybe the cape would be too much.
 
A real fan of mass murder with intentions to become one does not post it on social media. This chick just likes attention and wants someone to like her "dark side". As a side note, I'd imagine just about every stripper has imagined shooting the club up after a bad night. The difference is when you say something like "2019 has a lot in store if my plans go according!" it becomes an instant and actionable threat.

She's threatening all this shit online, but doesn't own a gun.

Honestly I commented on her looks primarily because I live by this place and it looks pretty grim (just from driving by). 20 minutes down the road in Tampa we have strip clubs that are nationally known, so a little podunk place out in the country doesn't look like much.

I was altogether surprised that anyone even passably attractive worked there.

Yep! Have lived in various points all over Hillsborough County for almost my entire life (since I was 2). I used to think the 2001 Odyssey space ship was the coolest thing to drive by when I was a kid, of course I had zero idea what it was.

Considering the ratchet faced whores and strippers we see here I thought she was pretty too and she looks clean ... and dare I even say it ... she looks smart, and like she finished school.

Right! I could walk into a bank lobby tomorrow, and she wouldn't look at all out of place as an accounts rep in a little side office, processing loan paperwork (or whatever).
