When a Highway Patrol trooper was arrested in September and charged with having sex with a minor, his wife, who was a Groveland police officer, and his friend, a Lake County sheriff’s deputy, were arrested for not promptly reporting the crime.

The deputy has now entered into an agreement that gets him off the hook legally.

Chad Corriveau’s wife, Alicia, still faces a third-degree felony charge of violating the reporting law. Seth Luppino, however, has entered a pretrial intervention program. Part of the agreement is that he will be available to testify against the Corriveaus.

“It took two weeks for him to come forward,” said Assistant State Attorney Jonathan Olson. “It was later, but he did.”

Luppino called a sheriff’s sex crime investigator on Sept. 20 to say that Alicia called him and said her husband, Chad, had sex with the girl at their home in November 2016. She said she didn’t know about it until June of 2017.

Investigators checked his phone and found out that she called him on Sept. 7 and shared explicit details in a three-hour conversation.

When investigators asked Luppino if he thought the allegations were true, he said yes, “Chad is a sexual deviant.”

Luppino said he didn’t report the allegation immediately because he thought Alicia was going to do it. He admitted he didn’t follow up because he was afraid of what Chad might do when he found out. He said he also didn’t know how to handle “a dirty cop.”

Chad Corriveau tied the girl up in a “sex swing,” and abused her with objects for hours, according to court records. The girl told authorities she didn’t report it right away because she was afraid of Chad’s “short-temper.”

The girl, who was between the ages of 12 and 16, told investigators at the Child Advocacy Center that she told Alicia about the assaults two months after they took place — not the seven or eight months that Alicia claimed.

The pretrial intervention agreement, signed in January, defers prosecution for 18 months provided he reports to a probation officer, pays assigned costs, does not possess any weapons without permission, use drugs or alcohol, and is gainfully employed. He was fired by the sheriff’s department. Alicia was also fired from her job as a law enforcement officer.

Little beady eyed pervert.
He will likely be a cop in a neighbouring community.
She needs to just give up and go do cum dumpster porn.

Pathetic bimbo

Youd think a woman would immediately turn him over to cops out of pure rage and a thirst for vengeance. This bitch tried to cling on.

I grew up with Chad. My mom used to babysit him and his sister. His mom has been a cop for as long as I can remember.

I think if a non-cop got caught kiddie-diddling, he'd get a lot worse than getting fired and deferred prosecution.

Really...I mean how exactly does that conversation go..."Hey babe, ya know how I like underage girls, well it's you lucky day! I want to throw you in the mix too!"?
I always kinda thought that he gets caught watching some sick shit and she's like... "We can make this work."
