Sentenced: Jessica Mills "Can't Quit" 15YO Boy She Sexually Harassed - Even After Police Issued Protective Order

A 33-year-old Jessica Mills has been accused of grooming a teenage boy, refusing to leave him alone even after authorities issued a protective order barring her from contact with the child.

It's unclear exactly what prompted the protective order, but prosecutors alleged during a recent hearing that she took the teenager to a motel and he was found cowering under the bed.

During a pre-trial hearing on June 25, prosecutors tacked on an additional charge of grooming.

Sexually explicit videos and inappropriate text messages from Mills were allegedly found on the teen's phone.

Prosecutors also accused Mills of talking about her relationship with the teenager during phone calls she made from jail.

No further background on the protective order or how Mills' knew her alleged victim has been shared.

Mills will remain in custody at the McLean County Detention Facility in Bloomington.

Jessica Mills, 33, has been sentenced to five years in prison for her guilty plea to grooming a minor.

Authorities said Mills had an inappropriate relationship with the 15-year-old even though there was a protection order barring her from having contact with the minor.

A probable cause statement presented to the court in June of this year said the teen had sexually explicit videos of Mills, and they shared inappropriate text messages.

The court document also said that on one occasion, the teen was hiding under a bed in a motel room in Normal where the two were staying.

Jailed for violating the protection order, prosecutors said Mills made jailhouse phone calls in which she talked about her relationship with the teen.
