Many of you are so quick to read a headline but not know what you’re talking about, for example many of you read the headline and immediately went to put in .2 cents when you don't know anything about it. And for those of you who do that you probably wont read this either because then it means your wrong.
Im so sick of this, forum after forum of idiots acting like nothing could ever god forbid happen to then. First off, authorities changed their story which is obvious if you do your research cause every site and newspaper says something different. It was not 14 hours they didnt go to bed until 10 and 11 and were check on before i went to bed. Second the AC was not broken. It was bought brand new before use and it is the manufacturer at fault. The box had no warnings nor did the AC, it was not loud it was a portable AC and they packaged it incorrectly, the styrofoam they put in the box was wedged so tight that authorities admittedly had to rip the box apart to get to the instructions and hose which no one knew was in there. Third neither the father or I set up the air conditioning unit, another family member did, as I’d never had to use anything besides ceiling fans, box fans, and central air before. Not to mention there were 2 other adults in the house. After Nicole was big enough to sleep in a bed with guardrails and Liam was in the crib there was no room for another bed in there and i had to sleep on the couch. The 2 adult family members upstairs would wake me up if they heard the children. Fourth, the father wasn’t even home that night. Fifth, maybe instead of “oh monsters” try putting yourself in the shoes of a fucking 18 year old losing her daughter. Yes i was young, and you can consider us what you want. But imagine losing your child because of something you had no idea about and living with hating yourself everyday. Everyday i wonder how much she’d have learned by now. How much bigger she’d be. I think of my son growing up without his big sister. Who was so smart for 1 yr old she was basically 1 going on 9. She loved him and played with him and before he was even 4 months old if you said “where’s brother?” Or “check on brother” she’d run right to him. Once when picking him up after his nap she reached for him and when i leaned down with him she wrapped her arms around him and wanted to keep holding him. Y’all have no idea what y’all are talking about or the pain our family goes through every damn day without our Nicole. So please instead of using an infants death to try and sound holier than thou, try feeling the pain we feel. We didn't get to see her learn her ABC’s or go to her first day of school. And Liam is without her. Believe what you want. But if y’all haven’t realized by now how the news twists everything, you should open your eyes to reality. Oh not to mention a few things they didn't tell you about the case. Such as 1) the so called detective Gilroy knew how heartless it would be to push the case and did so nonetheless in fact he knew he could because theres a new DA. As in brand new first time working as a DA type new. As a new DA he knew if he dismissed it as he should have that he would get crap from his co workers. And knew it was bs to pass it. So instead he passed it to a jury. 2) this so called “jury” was really just a group of people listening to Gilroy’s lies and “evidence” (evidence: photographs of the AC and a picture of a thermometer held straight up against the back of the AC with no testing of the temperature of the room after leaving the AC running or taking into account other factors such as room size, etc {which also proves it wasn't broken as claimed or else it wouldn’t have turned on after running if it ran as long as they claimed}, and no other pieces of “evidence”) 3) the jury only saw one side of the case which was a few photographs of an AC and thermometer and nothing else 4) to further prove their story is BS Gilroy has claimed different scenarios each time he's been asked about it whether it be in court or on the news. One was: the kids were found by police. Which is clearly not true because of the 911 call we made. And another being: a neighbor did? How even could you get that scenario when the 911 call came from us and no one else was outside. And last but definitely not least that our landlord was giving CPR when medics arrived on scene... our landlord wasn’t even home at the time. Literally in the past week in PA a woman hung a 10 year old and got off on probation. But yet a death caused by the AC apparently makes the parents deserve a life sentence? Not to mention my lawyer is suing the AC company and this is sadly only one of many cases that have happened due to this company.

This is on the purchaser, not the 'authorities'. When one usually buys an appliance, you normally check for - obvious damage; external parts needed for operation; the operators manual that (read carefully here) usually contains instructions on PROPER ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION & OPERATION.
Gee whiz you know there's supposed to be an INSTRUCTION MANUAL. Wonderful things those, they tell you how to turn things on/off and how to check for proper operation. Also, in these situations, aren't A/C units supposed to be blowing COLD air, not hot? Did no one go into the room and go 'Holy fuck it's hotter than hell in here'???

I'm guessing here that you mean 'Grand Jury' instead of a 'jury trial' and that's the DA's job. The GJ determines (among other things) if a serious crime has been committed and tells the DA to proceed based on the evidence that's been presented. This is elementary level Civics. Use this situation to educate yourself on how the legal system actually works, not on how you wish it would work.

You do realize that you mentioned several times earlier that the A/C unit was defective by the manufacturer. A/C fans can still run when they have no gas or when compressors fail. Again - It's up to the owner to ensure proper operation.
Based on the information you provided here, the DA is still planning to go ahead with the charges, so that means technically you're still under arrest and that, as Miranda says - Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
DA's are also capable of using Google, you know that right? I wonder if your lawyer knows you're posting this shit.

-Can you tell us who installed the AC unit?
-Can you both tell us, and give as many news stories as possible that dispute the 14 hours quoted by most of the news stories? (I searched for stories, and either the time wasn't quoted, or it was quoted as 14 hours.)

We just talk about how dumb people are really... I actually got on this site when I was a new young mom because I didn’t have a mom to teach me what the dangers were. I found out very fast a whole shit load of things that can very easily kill a baby.
