Corona police on Thursday continued searching for a missing 8-year-old boy after arresting his parents on suspicion of child abuse.

Officers were dispatched after receiving a report of an "at-risk" missing child named Noah McIntosh, according to a Corona Police Department news release.

Responding officers spoke with the boy's mother, 36-year-old Jillian Godfrey. However, they were unsuccessful in their efforts to reach his father, 32-year-old Bryce McIntosh, at a local apartment, the release stated.

Police served a search warrant around 8 a.m. the following day at the father's residence, where they located the man along with his 11-year-old daughter. Noah, however, was nowhere to be found.

Officers have since arrested Godfrey and McIntosh, who are suspected of child abuse "based on evidence recovered during the investigation," police said.

Officials declined to release photos of either parent.

Investigators are now seeking the public's help to locate Noah, who was last seen approximately two weeks ago in the 4600 block of Temescal Canyon Road, according to police.

As the search for 8-year-old Noah McIntosh continued, his grandfather said Friday that he believes the Corona boy who once lived with him in Anaheim is dead.

Noah has been missing for about two weeks, Corona police said. His parents — Bryce Daniel McIntosh, 32, and Jillian Marie Godfrey, 36 — were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of willful child cruelty because of interviews and discovered evidence, Sgt. Chad Fountain said. They never reported him missing.

Doug Godfrey, who is Jillian Godfrey’s father, said the parents are not married. He said he and his wife raised Noah and his 11-year-old sister for eight years. McIntosh eventually persuaded Jillian to move from to Anaheim to Corona, Doug Godfrey said.

McIntosh then “wrestled control” of the children from his daughter, Godfrey said.

Godfrey has a theory on what happened to Noah. He said Noah was born with his bladder outside his body, and that other birth defects caused Noah to sometimes wet his pants. Godrey said McIntosh “is a violent man” and that perhaps the burden of raising Noah caused him to snap.

“Did I think he’d kill Noah? I thought at one time he would kill the whole family,” said Godfrey, who during an interview would not refer to McIntosh by name.

Corona police Friday confirmed that it was Jillian Godfrey who called Tuesday, asking them to check in on her children. She had been living in her car at the apartment complex where McIntosh lived with the children, hoping to see them, Doug Godfrey said.

His daughter became concerned when she showed up at the apartment for her weekly Tuesday visit and there was no response.

Godfrey said he called Riverside County Child Protective Services a year or so ago, fearing that Noah was being abused, but caseworkers determined that there was no cause to take the boy away. Agency spokesman Gene Kennedy said Friday that he could not comment because of privacy regulations.

"He didn't deserve to die this way, and yes we think he is dead. We have never held out hope he was alive anywhere."

Doug Godfrey did not mince words when it came to his grandson Noah McIntosh's father, who he believes murdered the 8-year-old boy.

The Corona Police Department is not calling the case a homicide. But on Tuesday morning, investigators were back at a the Corona apartment where Noah lived with his father. A plumber was brought in to help in the search, and several items were seen taken from inside.

The little boy hasn't been seen in weeks, and his parents, Bryce McIntosh and Jillian Godfrey, are under arrest. They have been unable to tell investigators where the little boy is.

Murder charges have been filed against the father of Noah McIntosh, the 8-year-old Corona boy who is still missing after several weeks.

“We did collect trace evidence that leave no doubt that Noah is indeed the victim of a homicide,” Corona police Chief George Johnstone said at a news conference.

Noah’s father, Bryce McIntosh, was charged with one count of first-degree murder with special circumstance of torture added. He could face the death penalty if convicted as charged.

Corona police first went to check on Noah on March 12 at the request of his mother, Jillian Godfrey, who said she had not been able to contact him for almost two weeks. A search warrant was served at the home Bryce McIntosh on March 13.

A father charged in the killing of an 8-year-old California boy bought gloves, bolt cutters, acid and a drain opener, according to court documents submitted Thursday to the judge in the case and obtained by KTLA Friday.

Bryce McIntosh, 32, who has been charged with first-degree murder with a special circumstance of torture, purchased two pairs of long cuffed gloves, 24-inch bolt cutters, four gallons of muriatic acid and a bottle of drain opener from a Home Depot store on March 4, the day Noah McIntosh's mother said she last saw him, according to a declaration in support of an arrest warrant from Corona Police Detective Mario Hernandez.

Noah's body has not been located, but Corona Police Department Chief George Johnstone said traces of evidence have been found that "leave no doubt that Noah is the victim of a homicide."

Authorities believe the child was killed some time between March 3 and 4 in the county of Riverside, according to criminal complaint documents.

After extracting data from the father's cellphone, authorities traced one of his previous locations to the unincorporated area of Aguanga and found purple latex gloves, a plastic bag with residue consistent with blood, parts to a Ninja blender, empty bottles of drain cleaner, empty cans of oven cleaner, blankets and towels, according to the document.

Police looked through the father's online search history and found he searched for "the normal heart rate for 8 year old" and "exactly how sodium hydroxide works," the detective wrote in the declaration.

In an interview with police, the suspect's 10-year-old daughter told investigators she knew Noah was missing "because her daddy told her" and described physical abuse to Noah that involved the child being handcuffed in a bathtub with cold water and described "helping her daddy at times by holding Noah's legs down," the report said.

Police found handcuffs at the father's home during a search for evidence, the report said.

Godfrey said she saw McIntosh take Noah into a bathroom on March 2 and heard the child ask the father why he was hurting him, the detective wrote. She said that when she left McIntosh's home that day, the child was still in the bathroom, the report said.

Holy fuck! That poor boy!
The dad looks exactly like my old dope dealer. I had to double check cause I thought it was him. Looking all sorts of psycho.

Mom is a complete piece of shit for not breaking down that bathroom door to see what was happening to her son.

Don’t forget the ninja blender and acid let’s also burn chunks off and let him watch all the pieces blended and go bye-bye down the toilet cup by cup

Put him in an industrial blender/meat grinder, feet first, after dousing him with some pure HNO3; he'll feel both the burn and the blender. Then force feed him his own burned, ground flesh.
Film and show it live as a deterrent to other sperm donors/incubators who may think twice before killing their offspring, instead of fostering out or allowing their children to be cared for by a loving family who'd cherish any child.

Come on please do the slow method.. it will be more fun and last longer! You can film it from different angles for teaching & educational purposes! DD members can all pitch in and take shifts and a pot luck!

Oh, it can still be slow with industrial equipment, just lower him v e r y s l o w l y, and pause to cauterize (again with HNO3) the wounds long enough for him to be forced to eat all of his lower extremities, ground bones and all. A definite on different camera angles, top, all sides, and from inside and below the grinding mechanisms!
Our pot luck would be delicious, fragrant foods he'd be forced to smell, as he slowly eats himself alive. ;)

Jillian Godfrey, the mother of 8-year-old Noah McIntosh who went missing and authorities say they presume was slain, has pleaded guilty to two charges of child cruelty, with the details of the plea sealed by the court.

In March, Noah’s father, Bryce McIntosh, was charged with what investigators say was the torture-murder of the Corona boy. His body has not been found.

Asked Thursday if Godfrey had agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the case against Bryce McIntosh, Riverside County District Attorney’s Office spokesman John Hall said he could not comment, because the plea form was ordered sealed by a judge.

Godfrey is not charged with Noah’s slaying, but she was also arrested in March and charged with one count of child cruelty related to Noah.

Court records show she pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of child cruelty. Because the plea is sealed, details about the charges were not available.

She remained in custody on Thursday, Dec. 19, without the option of getting out on bail. Godfrey is scheduled to be sentenced April 3.

The father of Noah McIntosh, the 8-year-old boy who is presumed dead after disappearing last year, has been indicted by a grand jury on a murder charge, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

The charges against Bryce McIntosh include a count of willful child cruelty, as well as a special circumstance allegation of torture that would make him eligible for the death penalty, according to a DA’s news release.

DA Mike Hestrin has not decided yet whether to seek a death sentence in the case.

McIntosh, 34, of Corona had previously been charged with first-degree murder. He pleaded not guilty in April 2019.
