"A babysitter started looking for 26-year-old Prisma Reyes around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night when she did not pick up her child. She normally picks the child up around 7:30 p.m. when she gets off work.
Family and friends said they’ve tried to contact Reyes but have not gotten a response.
Police found Reyes’ Jeep Wrangler Thursday morning abandoned near Roseland Avenue, east of Highway 75 in Old East Dallas.
Surveillance video of the last known location of Reyes shows her in the general area where her vehicle was located.
The time stamp on the video places her at the undisclosed location near Hall Street and Roseland Avenue at 5:50 pm. After a few minutes on the phone, she walked out of frame and hasn't been seen or heard from since. She was seen speaking to someone on the phone. Investigators have interviewed that person and have cleared them.
The babysitter, Maria, called police after Reyes didn’t pick up her kid.
“Her child is the most important thing in her life,” she said."
