A 23-year-old Pensacola man is arrested for hitting a 2-year-old for “spilling baby formula all over the floor”.
Nidre Williams is accused of spanking the child on her bottom for spilling baby formula witnesses stated in the arrest report.
But one witness stated when Williams hit the child it was “not the way [you] hit a two-year-old”, the report revealed.
It also stated a forensic exam was done on the 2-year-old and deep bruising was found around the toddler’s bottom and a mark across her back.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office called Williams following the incident but he refused to meet with deputies, the report states.
Channel 3 News obtained an arrest report from May 30, 2018 which states Williams was wanted on an active warrant for burglary, battery by strangulation and cruelty to a child.
According to the report, a domestic violence questionnaire was filled out and stated Williams had the following risk factors:
Back in 2018, Williams was not immediately arrested for cruelty toward a child, burglary and battery so a warrant was issued for his arrest, the arrest report states.
