Sentenced: Pensacola man is arrested for hitting a 2yo for “spilling baby formula all over the floor”

A 23-year-old Pensacola man is arrested for hitting a 2-year-old for “spilling baby formula all over the floor”.

Nidre Williams is accused of spanking the child on her bottom for spilling baby formula witnesses stated in the arrest report.
But one witness stated when Williams hit the child it was “not the way [you] hit a two-year-old”, the report revealed.

It also stated a forensic exam was done on the 2-year-old and deep bruising was found around the toddler’s bottom and a mark across her back.

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office called Williams following the incident but he refused to meet with deputies, the report states.

Channel 3 News obtained an arrest report from May 30, 2018 which states Williams was wanted on an active warrant for burglary, battery by strangulation and cruelty to a child.

According to the report, a domestic violence questionnaire was filled out and stated Williams had the following risk factors:

• Suspect uses illegal drugs or abuses legal drugs, the arrest report outlined
• Suspect is violent towards children, the arrest report outlined
• Suspect has threatened or attempted suicide, the arrest report outlined
• Suspect is violent outside of the relationship, the arrest report outlined

Back in 2018, Williams was not immediately arrested for cruelty toward a child, burglary and battery so a warrant was issued for his arrest, the arrest report states.

According to a report, Williams entered a home and began strangling a woman with a child in her arms and would not let her go.

The report states he threw the woman’s head against a wall and the baby hit its head."

But he was not arrested until this latest incident, 8 months later? Such phenomenal police work. Amazing he didn't kill someone during those 8 months.

Not the way you hit a 2 year old..... is there a right way to hit a 2 year old for an accident?

I mean they can't spill things if you put your stuff away/out of reach.
