Police are searching for an Oklahoma couple that is on the run after one child was found dead, three critically injured and another child missing.

The Altus (Okla.) Police Department and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's US Marshals Task Force issued the bulletin Tuesday evening for 27-year-old Hakim Mustafa Moore and 29-year-old Robin Alexander.

Police say a "failure to appear" warrant was issued for both Moore and Alexander, who were facing charges of child abuse, child neglect and enabling child neglect in Jackson County, Oklahoma. Police in that county learned the suspects had fled to St. Louis to avoid capture.

The couple has five children in common. Three children are in the custody of the state after they were found in Oklahoma in critical condition. The fourth child was found deceased and a fifth child, who police say was born in a hotel room and has no documentation, has not been located.

Police in both Oklahoma and Missouri are asking for the public's help locating Moore and Alexander so they can be brought to justice and to determine if the couple's fifth child is healthy and alive.

If you suck at taking care of one kid, why the hell would you have four more? I swear, that's why I'm either gonna adopt or become a cat lady. And dude, I know some people dislike the concept of abortions, but there's these things called condoms.....

An Oklahoma couple who has been on the run for more than a month is now in custody.

In July, officials told News 4 that they were searching for Hakim Moore and Robin Alexander after they were charged with child abuse.

Court documents say the couple’s three children were put into DHS custody after they were allegedly abused and neglected.

In September, police in Altus searched their home and found a “very limited amount of food.” The report states that the children were “malnourished due to child neglect by means of starvation.”

Investigators say that although three of the children were taken into protective custody, they learned there was an infant still with the couple.

“Prior to them leaving Altus and felony warrants being issued, we learned that there was an undocumented child born to them who is believed to now be with them on the run,” said Det. Colby Earls, with the Altus Police Department.

The 3-month-old child was found unharmed.
