Welp, the NY Post has beaten me to the punchline, and also proved that in many cases, "less IS more" with this headline:
Damn, something I'd have never thought we'd see, a cheap tabloid rag trying to extort the richest man in the world, who also owns a large media group - with dick pics.
What a time to be alive!
And now scores of reporters and private citizens are coming forward with their own receipts of how the Enquirer/AMI tried the same tactics on them when doing stories that either Pecker or his pals didn't like.
Yes, but threatening and extorting people seems to be a new low for them. They've got some balls to take on
Bezos.
This isn't a new low, it's now becoming alarmingly apparent that this is how AMI/Enquirer has operated for decades, and not just towards the rich and famous, but anyone they felt that they could use to do whatever bidding or dirty work that they wanted.
As big as AMI thinks their balls may be, Bezos' has just shown that it's better to let his dick pics fly freely out in the open while showing his balls are bigger, versus than just having a Pecker.
here is so much rapid fire coming out about this case it is hard to chose but here is a subtle article:
American Media, the tabloid's parent company, was granted immunity last year in connection with its assistance in an investigation into Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer.

and we have had fun with this:
[me]
jeff swirling wine in glass then command prompt: Alexa: digame
Bezos' just castled and checkmated in a single move, lmao!
You don't have to like the man personally to realize and agree that he did the best thing anyone could possibly do when facing extortion by calling their bluff and posting the
written email extortion demands right out in the open for all to see.
If they hadn't somehow illegally obtained and printed his private texts, they wouldn't be in this position today, and what absolute dumbasses Howard and Pecker are to have thought is was smart to put all of this in writing, and to think it would actually work on the richest man in the world, who also owns all of their online hosting sites.
