Per the report, an investigation was launched after a community member in Greenwood went to law enforcement after she allegedly caught Smith having sex with her child on a device. Court documents reviewed by WXIN reportedly state that the woman had allowed the suspect and her children to move into her home. She further stated that during that time Smith "got very close with" her child, leading to the installment of a camera inside the child's room. The device, at some point, allegedly captured the suspect getting in and out of the child's bed during the night, per the report.
