A mother told friends her children were sick hours before her two sons died and her four other kids, including a baby, were taken to hospital in Sheffield.
Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman and man, 37, on suspicion of murder after the six children were rushed to hospital.
It was later confirmed that the two eldest boys, aged 14 and 13, had died.
The other children, aged 11, 10, three and seven months, were in hospital last night, but were said to be “conscious” and their injuries not life-threatening.
Tristan Barrass, 13, and Blake Barrass, 14, died following what police described as a 'major' incident at a house in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on Friday.
Sarah Barrass, 34, was charged with their murder alongside Brandon Machin, 37, and the pair appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
Barrass is also accused of three counts of attempted murder against two other children.
The boys died after they were taken to hospital and are suspected to have been poisoned, it was reported.
It was claimed the 13 and 14-year-old boys sent a message from a Nintendo Switch console to a friend saying they were 'feeling sick' at 7am – half an hour before police were called to their house.
