ST. LOUIS COUNTY — A judge sentenced John Williams on Friday to 30 years in prison for multiple sexual assaults against a girl who was 6 when it happened in 2006, and 8 when she testified against him last month.
On Feb. 15, a jury in St. Louis County Circuit Court convicted Williams, 48, of three counts of statutory sodomy and one count each of attempted statutory sodomy, child molestation, sexual misconduct and attempted tampering with a victim.
Under the sentence imposed by Judge John Ross, Williams will not be eligible for parole until he completes 25½ years in prison.
Williams denied at both the trial and the sentencing that he ever touched or molested the girl at his house in north St. Louis County.
