Shaun Weiss was arrested around 1 a.m., but police released him without a citation after he spent a few hours in the drunk tank, according to the Oroville Police Department.

In a Facebook post, the Oroville Police Department said Weiss was arrested on suspicion of “intoxication only” and “no further criminal proceedings are desired at this time.”

It was Weiss' mugshot that caught the attention of many people on social media.

“Oh how the mighty have fallen,” another commented. “This is terrible," one person tweeted.

This isn't the 38-year-old's first run-in with the law.

Last year, he served time for theft and drug possession in two separate cases.

In 2017, he was arrested for stealing $151-worth of products from an electronics store and was sentenced to 150 days in jail, although he ended up serving only 12 days of that sentence due to overcrowding.

Five days after his release, he was arrested for possession of suspect methamphetamine.

Why is it sad? The guy is rotten scum. Fuck him. He likely was always amoral filth, just didnt start causing problems until late in life.

Hope he can pull it together.
Appearances are that he has made a helluva effort.

Shaun Weiss has reached a milestone in his fight against addiction.

The “Mighty Ducks” star — who has had a difficult few years, marked by multiple arrests and drug use — is celebrating one year of sobriety, his close friend Drew Gallagher told TMZ.

Weiss, 42, remains living in a sober living facility in California, and also chose to delay his Christmas celebrations so that he could open gifts on his sobriety anniversary, Gallagher said.
