A California man has been charged with trespassing after police say he was found sleeping in the bed of an 11-year-ol girl with his genitals exposed.

According to the district attorney's office in Oakland, at around 5.30am on Monday, a man was sleeping at his home in Burlinsgate when his 11-year-old niece woke him up saying that there was a stranger sitting on the edge of her bed.

The uncle went into the girl's bedroom and found an intruder, later identified as 35-year-old Jared Enix, laying in his niece’s bed.

The homeowner grabbed the girl and her eight-year-old sister sleeping in another bed and fled the house to call for help, reported NBC Bay Area.

When police responded to the scene, they reportedly came upon Enix still sleeping under the covers in the 11-year-old’s bed.

When officers removed the blanket, they found Enix with his pants around his ankles and his privates exposed. District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said when police woke him up, the intruder told them, 'I was raped.'

Oh yeah he looks believable, NOT!

But I did find this kind of hilarious

Wow ... I liked the whole story except the toward the end part where they grabbed the other kid and fled ... It would have been better if the Uncle had pulled out a gun and shot the guy ... It could have sounded like this ...

The GUN: BANG!

The girls: EWWWWWW! Can we get bunk beds now !

So was there any sexual activity? I'm thinking the girl got away lucky by just having him in the bed and not actually doing anything. Also how the fuck did he get in her bed in the first place?? This article is all kinds of vague.

Not sure if this is a current picture or the one I posted above is a current image of this perv.

The first crazy eye picture must be older as it's from Santa Cruz County and he was arrested in San Mateo County. The black eye is probably from resisting arrest. He's an Oakland "resident" which is Alameda County. Bet he has a rap sheet in that county too!
ETA: these counties are adjoining and rather large. Each has a large metropolitan area, and a lot of rural area. LOL, and plenty of earthquake faults.

Just after 5:30 a.m. Monday, a Burlingame man was awakened by his 11-year-old niece, who said a man was sitting on the edge of her bed. The man did not recognize Jared Enix, 35, when he allegedly found him in the girl’s bed. He then allegedly took her and his 8-year-old niece, who was also staying with him, out of the house and called police, according to prosecutors.

When police arrived at the home, they allegedly found Enix in the bed covered with a blanket and with his pants down. He told them he was raped when they woke him up and refused to identify himself to police officers. He was identified when he was booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility and had his fingerprints taken, according to prosecutors.

Why only trespassing?

No indecent exposure? No nothing else? The fuck?

Confused why the homeowner didnt get rid of him.

No indecent exposure?
The nakedness was after the children were taken outdoors. When the little girl woke up and saw him he was just sitting there, she did not say he was naked. (Of course,, he ended up in a room with little girls, why not crash on the sofa?)
The police found him with his pants down. It's a technicality. If no one complains about nakedness on private property, it is not a crime.
If they charged him with it, it would be the first charge dropped.

Although we’re all bloodthirsty & disappointed, the uncle did the right thing by just getting the kids out of there and letting the cops deal with this nut job. Grudging respect.

Meh. This creep has no positive attributes or worth to society. Would have been better if he was put to the sword.

You can safeguard the children and then go back in to kill the intruder.
