"Officials say Lazaro Pozzo Illas was heading Northbound when he sped through a cross walk and struck two men riding in a golf cart.

Both men were ejected from the golf cart following the collision. They were taken to University Hospital for treatment, where one was later pronounced dead. The other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Illas was arrested and charged with DUI, murder and driving without a license."

It looks like it may well have been on the course, Brillig. The car, a red Mustang, is off the groomed part of the course in the rough, and the damaged cart is pictured on the cart track.

I would not be at all surprised if the Mustang driver thought he was exiting the golf course parking lot on that narrow little road, that narrow road that everybody else would recognize as a golf cart path.
