Ronald Williams didn't have a driver's license when he stopped in the middle of Interstate 275 last year, causing a crash in which a man burned to death.
Williams, who is 40, has never had a driver's license, prosecutors said, although he briefly had a learner's permit.
Williams was sentenced Tuesday to 11 years in prison. He pleaded guilty last month in in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court to aggravated vehicular homicide and failing to stop after an accident.
Vincent Hobbs, 46, of Hamilton was killed in the June 2018 crash, which happened in Springdale.
Hamilton County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Schrimpf said a video from the scene showed Williams walking by Hobbs' pickup as he was burning to death.
