Nathaniel Abraham now is 33 years old. Bond was set at $100,000 during a court appearance Friday in Farmington Hills. Outside court, attorney James Galen says his client isn't "holding up so well."

The Oakland County sheriff's office says investigators seized meth, about $3,100 and digital scales at a house in Pontiac.

Abraham faces drug charges in two communities. A court hearing in Pontiac is set for Saturday.

Abraham was 11 in 1997 when he was accused of fatally shooting a stranger in Pontiac. He was convicted at age 13. He was released from state supervision in 2007 but has had subsequent legal problems.

Perhaps the outcome would’ve been different if he’d actually received treatment at age 11. And wasn’t black.

There’s a 11 year old white kid who just shot his state trooper dad. It’ll be interesting to compare how he’s treated in the criminal justice system.

A Detroit-area man convicted of murder at age 13 has pleaded guilty to an indecent exposure charge.

Thirty-three-year-old Nathaniel Abraham was sentenced last week to 30 days in jail, which he had already served. Last year, he was charged with resisting officers trying to arrest him on the exposure charge.

He was charged this year with several counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Abraham remains jailed on those charges. Defense attorney James Galen said Friday that Abraham "was at best a street-level dealer" trying to make money for his son born a few months ago.

I guess no one told you about condoms while you were incarcerated. If this is the best you'll try to do now that you're out, give up on being a "family man".
