Linking Videos (not Embedding)

Sites like Vimeo do not contain url's to the video when embedding is not allowed, they just say "embedding this video is not allowed" and if you click it it just takes you to the site root.

I cannot figure out how to just post a url to the video.

Try running the URL through a link shortener to get a link the software here won't try to format.

Bitly: https://bitly.com/

Just paste the shortened link into your post and the system will format it as a regular link like this: http://goo.gl/rH1GdR

You can also highlight text and click the Link button and enter the non-shortened link to have it format out as a link <-- like that.
