Former Pro Bowl tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. allegedly kidnapped and raped women ages 54 and 59 this spring, and attempted to rape two elderly women this month, according to the criminal complaint filed by San Diego County prosecutors.

Winslow Jr. was arrested Thursday by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for the second time in eight days. He faces nine charges, including two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping with the intent to commit rape, one count of forcible sodomy and two counts of residential burglary, among others.

Winslow was booked into Vista Detention Facility a little after 8 p.m. Thursday, according to online records. He was scheduled to be arraigned in North County Superior Court on Friday.

The complaint includes the following allegations of rape and forced oral copulation of a 54-year-old woman in March; kidnap, rape and sodomy of a 59-year-old woman in May; indecent exposure in May; burglary with the intent to rape a 71-year-old woman in June; burglary with the intent to rape an 86-year-old woman also in June.

Winslow's spokesperson, Denise White, declined comment when reached by USA TODAY Sports on Thursday. A message left with his lawyer, Brian Watkins, was not immediately returned Friday.

The son of Football Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow was arrested and briefly jailed June 7 in connection with a suspected burglary at a mobile home park when a neighbor reported seeing him inside a nearby trailer.

When the neighbor asked what Winslow was doing there, he said he was looking for his big red dog Clifford.

A spokesperson for Winslow later said he was just being "sarcastic."

Winslow left, but was later picked up by officers and spent several hours in jail before being released on $50,000 bond.

The sixth overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft, Winslow played for four teams in nine seasons. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2007 as a member of the Cleveland Browns, when he caught 82 passes for 1,106 yards and five touchdowns.

Winslow grew up in San Diego, where his father gained fame as a key member of the renowned "Air Coryell" era of the Chargers in the late 1970s and early to mid-1980s. The younger Winslow attended Patrick Henry and Scripps Ranch high schools before going to the University of Miami.

When I told my husband about this he said it's probably CTE.

It makes you lose impulse control. So yes, he probably had a thing for old women, but instead if watching fetish porn like most people would, he acted on it.

Similar to Aaron Hernandez.

Symptoms of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy
The symptoms of CTE can be debilitating and may have life-changing effects for both the individual and for his or her family. Some of the most common include loss of memory, difficulty controlling impulsive or erratic behavior, impaired judgment, behavioral disturbances including aggression and depression, difficult with balance, and a gradual onset of dementia.

Or maybe he was always an asshole.
What I said does not make the fact that he is an asshole any more or less true.

Both can be true, they are not independent as in many people with CTE do not commit vicious crimes, but some do. Indicating that there was a predisposition to such behavior. Perhaps their CTE contributed to their actions.

We talk about killing the perps a lot here, but I'm fairly certain its something we desire, not something we will act upon.

Kellen Winslow II jailed again for alleged lewd conduct while on bail

Winslow, once the sixth overall pick of the NFL draft who last played tight end with the New York Jets in 2013, was accused of touching himself in front of a 77-year-old woman at a Carlsbad, Calif. gym and asking if she liked it, according to Deputy District Attorney Dan Owens, via Teri Figueroa of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Figueroa reported that incident happened Feb. 13, and Figueroa said nine days after that incident the woman was in a hot tub at the same gym and Winslow entered wearing only a towel, then Winslow was accused of engaging in lewd conduct and touching her arm and foot.

Winslow was jailed without bail and charged with two counts according to the Union-Tribune: battery of an elder and willful cruelty to an elder. Winslow pleaded not guilty, the report said. Winslow had been free on about $2 million bail, according to the Union-Tribune, as he awaited trial on rape and kidnapping charges. He was jailed without bail after the most recent accusation, according to the U-T.

The trial for the rape and kidnapping case is scheduled for April, Figueroa wrote.

"Jurors in the Kellen Winslow II trial found the former NFL star guilty Monday on three of the 12 counts — including a rape charge — and will continue to deliberate.

Winslow shook his head as the first verdict was read, the felony charge related to the forcible rape of a 59-year-old homeless woman in May 2018. Winslow was also convicted of a lewd act in public conduct and indecent exposure — both misdemeanors — and was acquitted on another lewd act in public charge.

San Diego County the Superior Court of Blaine K. Bowman sent the jury back to deliberate on the other eight charges."

SAN DIEGO — Former NFL player Kellen Winslow II was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison for multiple rapes and other sexual offenses against five women in Southern California, including one who was homeless when he attacked her in 2018.

The 37-year-old son of San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame receiver Kellen Winslow appeared via videoconference at the hearing in San Diego Superior Court in Vista, a city north of San Diego. He declined to comment before his sentence, saying his lawyers had advised him not to speak.
