A woman was arrested on a charge of domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after sheriff’s deputies say she beat her boyfriend with a frying pan.
According to an arrest report, Kanesha Daniels, 40, of Gainesville, said her boyfriend came home drunk from a party and went to sleep. Then he woke up and rummaged through the fridge for food. Both parties began arguing about whose food it was. Daniels told deputies that the victim shoved her out of the way to get to the food.
The argument escalated, and both began throwing food over the balcony of their Holly Heights apartment, the report said.
At one point during the altercation, Daniels grabbed a 12-inch frying pan and struck her boyfriend in the face, causing multiple lacerations to his forehead and left cheek, the report said
The victim, a 47-year-old man, had been living with Daniels for about five months. He left the apartment and contacted authorities.
